  • 220 g Demerara Sugar 1 cup
  • 237 g Filtered Water 1 cup

Instructions
 

  • Heat. Pour 237g of water (1 cup) into a small saucepan and heat over medium heat.
  • Combine. Add in 250g of demerara sugar (1 cup) and stir occasionally until it dissolves. Don't allow it to simmer or boil!
  • Cool. Remove the pan from heat.
  • Store. Allow the mix to cool slightly, then store it in an airtight container.
  • Use. Store your demerara simple syrup in an airtight storage container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. You can also store it in the freezer for longer-term storage.
