Garnishing the Glassware Dip . Gently dip the edge of your glass into a small dish of simple syrup, then shake off the excess syrup.
Press . Press the syrup-dipped glass into a small dish of vanilla sugar, and set the glass aside to allow the sugar to adhere to the rim of the glass.
Making the Cocktail Brew . Brew a double espresso, or measure out 2 ounces of cold brew concentrate.
Chill coffee . Add ice to a cocktail shaker, and pour your coffee over the ice.
Add vodka. Add in 2 ounce of vanilla vodka.
Add Kahlua . Add 1 ounce of Kahlua.
Pour syrup . Add 1 ounce of simple syrup.
Shake. Shake vigorously for 30-60 seconds. This is what chills the drink and gives it the signature foamy and frothy top!
Strain . Strain your drink into the prepared coupe glass, double-straining if preferred, to make sure there are no ice chips.
Garnish and serve. Garnish with three vanilla beans and serve immediately.
Big Batch Blender Recipe Combine . Add the espresso, Kahlua, vodka, and syrup to a blender.
Blend . Blend for 30 seconds.
Pour . Pour into prepared glasses, leaving a bit of room for foam.
Top . Top with extra foam from blender.
Garnish and serve . Garnish with espresso beans and serve immediately.
