A glass of iced coffee with thick foam on top, garnished with a sprig of lavender, sits on a wooden coaster. Nearby, extra lavender sprigs and a white plate hint at the flavors of a Lavender Honey Latte against a purple textured background.

Honey Lavender Latte Recipe (Better Than Starbucks!)

Lindsey Neumayer
Skip the $7 Starbucks run and make this honey lavender latte at home for a fraction of the cost! This barista-quality drink combines bold espresso with a homemade lavender honey syrup made from real dried lavender flowers and pure honey - not artificial powder. The result? A delicately sweet, floral latte that's actually better than what you'd get at a coffee shop. Serve it hot or iced, with dairy or oat milk. Ready in just 5 minutes once you have your syrup prepped!

    2 ounces espresso
  • Prep glass. Fill your preferred glass with ice.
  • Pour syrup. Add the lavender honey simple syrup to a mixing glass.
1 ounce lavender honey simple syrup
  • Add milk. Pour the milk into the mixing glass with the lavender honey syrup.
    3 ounces milk
  • Mix + froth. Using a hand frother, mix the lavender honey syrup with the milk until itโ€™s nice and frothy.
  • Pour espresso in glass. Pour your espresso into the glass with ice.
  • Layer foam. Carefully layer the lavender honey milk on top of the iced espresso.
  • Garnish. Garnish with a sprig of culinary lavender or dried lavender buds and serve!

Notes

For hot lattes:
If you are serving hot lattes, you can skip cooling the espresso. Youโ€™ll also want to steam the milk to heat it while you froth it.
