This homemade Peeps soda pop is perfect for celebrating in springtime! As a bonus, you can also customize it using any other seasonal Peeps candies around Halloween or Christmas, too! All you need is a bit of Peeps simple syrup and your bubbly water of choice and you've got a fun soda that's ready for any party!
8ouncessparkling watercan use up to 12 ounces, if you want to use the whole can for one drink
1ouncePeeps simple syrupincrease to 2 ounces for a stronger, sweeter soda
iceto fill glass
whipped creamoptional, for topping
Peeps marshmallow candyoptional, for garnish
Instructions
Chill glass & add syrup. Add your ice to the glass of your choice and slowly pour in 1 ounce of syrup. Use 2 ounces for a stronger, sweeter flavor.
Add bubbles. Top with 8 ounces of seltzer water or sparkling water.
Stir it up. Give your soda a good stir with a cocktail mixing spoon, or other long handled spoon.
Garnish. Add a dollop of whipped cream if desired, and top with a Peeps marshmallow candy.
Serve. Pop a straw in your soda and serve immediately!
Notes
If you are new to making sodas at home, start with less syrup then add more until you find the flavor you like.
Substitutions & Variations
Club soda can usually be used interchangeably with plain seltzer water, but it does have added minerals which can change the flavor of your soda.Add in cream or your milk of choice to create an Italian-style soda!Spike your soda with peeps-infused vodka for a special grown-up soda pop!
